C. D. Griffith, 27, who died Tuesday afternoon in the Lubbock General Hospital, will be buried in the local cemetery, following a funeral service here, probably tomorrow. Mr. Morton [sic] moved from Brownfield to Morton about years ago. He has lived in this vicinity for 25 years.
He is survived by his widow, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Griffith, Brownfield; five brothers, J. K., E. C., and Ray Griffith of Brownfield, H. D. Griffith of Morton, and R. H. Griffith of California; and four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Mawheany of Kansas City, Mrs. Gabe Bloom of Brownfield, Miss Virginia Griffith of Brownfield and Mrs. Bill Lowery of San Antonio.
