Mr. Bagwell died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at Cullman Long Term Care. He was born Aug. 22, 1930. He was a maintenance worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother, Jewell Carden Bagwell Johnson; father, Curtis Bill Bagwell; stepfather, Rev. Charlie Johnson; daughters, Anita Kay Bagwell Jordan and infant Marie Bagwell; brother-in-law, James O. Rusk, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Bates Bagwell; 2 sons, Wayne (Willette) Bagwell and Bill (Belinda) Bagwell; 2 sisters, Imogene "Jean" Bagwell Rusk and Mary Ann Bagwell (James) Lee; brother, James David "Tootsie" (Martha) Bagwell; 3 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; step-grandson; 2 great-granddaughters; and 3 great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Omega Hospice or one's favorite charity.
