See Missouri Death Certificate #936a. Mrs. Brizendine was a "Farmer's wife." Her father was J. W. Bowlin, mother is unknown.

Her death certificate mistakenly lists her son as her spouse.

It was family legend that being sick and fearing a nursing home, she jumped off the roof of the house.
