Funeral services for Everett E. Purdeu, 75, Decatur, formerly of Sullivan, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the McMullin Funeral Home in Sullivan. Burial was in Keller Cemetery near Lovington.
Mr. Purdeu died at 12:35 a.m Saturday, Nov. 30 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. He was born in Decatur Jan. 10, 1899 a son of Frank and Laura Bundy Purdeu. He operated the Lamp Post Restaurant in Decatur for 17 years and the Bus Stop Restaurant also in Decatur for 8 years before his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Frantz of Chicago and one grandchild. A nephew, Richard Purdeu, lives in Sullivan.
