Hubert S. Ragland, age 80, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, January 02, 2012 at his home. He was born in the Grandview, Arkansas community on January 02, 1932 to Eugene Ragland and Verlie (Freeman) Ragland.

Hubert served in the United States Army during the Korean War where he earned the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with Valor. He worked as a farmer. Hubert had made his peace with God. He was greatly loved and will be even more greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Vivian.

He leaves behind three brothers, Franklin, Clifton and Wilbur Ragland; two sisters, Anna Cunningham and Alice Simpkins; two nephews, Tim LaPointe and Travis Ragland; three nieces, Carla Fisher, Denna Riggins and Rebecca Mays; many great and great-great nephews and nieces; and a host of friends and relatives.

Hubert will rest in the Grandview Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 04, 2012 with Bro. Billy Joe Reid officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Junior Busbee, Jimmy Lynn Horton, Harold Young, Allen Riggins, Travis Ragland and Tim LaPointe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Ragland, Hughy Ragland, Tim Mays and Charlie Landrum.
