Charles W. Morningstar, 83, of Barnesville, died at the Ropin Nursing Home, Potomac.

He was a son of the late William and Sara Morningstar.

He is survived by the following children: Archie Morningstar and Mrs. Sara Johnson, both of Kensington; Mrs. Ethel Price of Baltimore; Mrs. Hester Windolph of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Alice Glick, of Sykesville. One sister, Cora Morningstar of Frederick, and one brother, Edgar Morningstar of Bethesda, and 18 grandchildren also survive.

The body is at the funeral home in Barnesville where services will be held Monday, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.
