Kimberly S. Wackerman, age 47, of Lewis Center, Oh., went to be with her Lord suddenly Sunday, March 30, 2008, of complications of an inter-cerebral hemorrhage. Born in Fairborn, Oh. to Marilyn A. and the late John P. Kollesser, she was a graduate of Fairborn Park Hills High School, Class of 1978. In addition to her father, Kim is preceded in death by her aunt Patricia Barga and cousins Kenneth Kolessar and Lt. Col. Thomas Kolessar. Kim is survived by her husband of 22 1/2 years, Ron; her children, Gregory Gabringer of Daytona Beach, Fla., Ryan Wackerman of Youngstown, Oh., Justin Wackerman and Kaitlyn Wackerman, both of Lewis Center; mother, Marilyn Kollesser of Westerville, Oh.; sister, Theresa (Anthony) Aretz of Cordova, Tenn.; brothers, John Paul "Jack" Kollesser of Xenia, Oh., Jeffrey Alan Kollesser of Columbus, James Andrew "Jimmy" Kollesser of Dayton, Oh. and their families; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Mary Wackerman of Powell, Oh.; brothers-in-law, Richard (Lisa) Wackerman of West Alexandria, Oh. and Robert (Deb) Wackerman of Oakwood, Oh.; sister-in-law, Robin (Tim) Denney of Columbus and their families; uncle and aunt, Donald and June Kolessar of Philadelphia, Pa.; cousins, Joy and John Fraunfelter of Pottstown, Pa.; aunt, Martha Helen "Cissy" Smith of Samson, Ala.; uncle, John Barga of Covington, Oh.; best friends, Tracey and Peter Manz of Lewis Center and their children, Peter III "Trey" and Tara. Kim and her family attended Lewis Center United Methodist Church. A devoted wife, mother and friend, Kim was active in the Olentangy High School Diamond Club, was a Room Mother for Alum Creek Elementary School's 4th Grade Class, was an independent director of The Pampered Chef for over seven years and was a partner and investor in Midwest Development Systems, LLC. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME at POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, Oh. 43065, 614-792-1471. (The funeral home is on W. Olentangy St./Powell Rd./SR 750, 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Parkway.) Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at Lewis Center United Methodist Church, 1081 Lewis Center Rd., Lewis Center, Oh. 43035 with Rev. Lynette Decker officiating. (The church is located on Lewis Center Road 1 mile east of US Route 23.) Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center. The family would like to thank Ginny and Kate and the staff of Riverside Methodist Hospital and Lifeline of Ohio. Kim gave the gift of life.
