NORTHPORT Louise McCool Wicker, age 74, of Northport, died Dec. 31, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Bethabara Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Montgomery, Rev. Scott Montgomery, and Rev. Mac McGarth officiating. Burial will follow in Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Belton and Ovella Davis McCool, and her brother, Leon McCool.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. Wicker; her daughter, Debbie Tavolino; her sons, Randy Wicker (Regina) and Pete Wicker (Julie); her sisters, Marinell Rainey, Laverne Freeman, and Diane Beard (Kenneth); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Jarrell, Sam Minchew, Nicky Tavolion, Drew Wicker, Riley Wicker, and Seth Wicker.
