He was born May 25, 1936, to Glen M. and Ruby Taylor. He grew up in the mountains of Stockton, Idaho.
He served his country in the Korean War.
Dal married his sweetheart, Della Elwood, on October 21, 1955. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on May 22, 1963.
He retired from the Division of Wildlife Resources with 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Della, daughters Debbie (Preston) Hudman and Devonne (Rick) Deters, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Thatcher- Penrose LDS Church, 11475 West 10400 North.
