Edith M. Allyn, a resident of Fallon since 1919 died Wednesday in a Fallon hospital. She was 87.
She was born Sept.27, 1895, in Liverpool, England. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Mrs. Allyn was preceded in death by her husband, E.R. Allyn, a former Churchill County commissioner, in 1958.
Surviving are her son, Edmond W. Allyn and daughters, Edith Harrigan and Betty Johnson, all of Fallon; daughter, Dorothy Prudler of Roseburg, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Austin, Matson and Smith Funeral Home.
A funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Fallon Cemetery.
