RIPLEY - Charles R. Walker, 91, retired professor for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, died of heart failure Monday in West Palm Beach, Fla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Garner Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Walker, the widower of Roberta Durham Walker, leaves two sons, Charles R. Walker Jr. of West Palm Beach and Robert Walker of Albany, N.Y.; a sister, Lucy Williams of Savannah, and two grandchildren.
