Charles W. Glodo, 79, died at 10:34 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 1987, in Memorial Hospital in Chester. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Wilson Funeral Home in Ava, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Murphysboro. Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Glodo was retired from Cerro Copper Products Co. in East St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 1, 1908, in Jackson County to Albert and Dell Glodo.
He married Cora Smith in 1928. She died in 1984.
Survivors include one sister, Rosilea Kerr of Decatur.
Four brothers and four sisters also preceded him in death.
