Born in MD to John and Catherine (Kober)Cover, married Eve Hahn daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Hahn who moved into Columbiana County, Ohio before 1817 when Ben and Eve bought their land on Unity Road and Youngstown-Pittseifld Road in Springfield Twp. They had a Petersburg PO address when mail delivery started. Father of 10 children, two whom were deaf - Catherine and Joshua. Susan and husband David Crumbacher took in Catherine after the parents died and John Cover and wife Mary Barbara (Stump) Cover took in Joshua until he died. Ben and Eve left $ 600.00 to Susannah to take care of Catherine her entire life. Interest was to be spent on Catherine. The remaining funds were to be given to Susannah after Catherine's death. Same scenario for Joshua. John was given $ 600.00 to take care of Joshua. Upon his fathers death in MD, Ben was to have received his silver watch as he was the oldest son. No one knows whether this happened or not. Most likely not. He and Eve were hard working religious farming people like their parents and siblings.
