Jennifer E. Jenkins, 35, of Naples, Florida, was tragically killed in a car - truck collision around 5:30 PM on December 30, 2011. The accident happened in rural Hardee County, on Highway 64 near Zolfo Springs, as she was traveling with a life-long friend to visit friends in Orlando.
Jennifer was married to Daniel Jenkins about ten years ago. They recently celebrated the birth of their first child, a daughter they named Ashley Elizabeth, in October of 2011.
She was an orthopedic nurse at NCH Healthcare System - Downtown Naples Hospital.
Jennifer graduated from St. John Neumann High School and went to the University of Central Florida, where she studied Health Care Administration. She also met her husband while attending UCF. She later changed her career plans and got a degree in nursing from Edison State College.
