Mr. McDuffie, a native of Marion, was a retired sales engineer from Jeffrey's Engineering and Equipment Company, Greensboro, N.C.
He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, a 1942 graduate of Presbyterian College and a former sales consultant with Metts Manufacturing.
He was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rosamond Durban McDuffie; two daughters, Donna Kahle, Clarksville, Md., and Debby Hinson, Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Annie Russell Bush, Murrells Inlet; and four great-grandchildren.
