75, of 2815 Rice boulevard, died in a Houston
hospital at 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Born in
Meridian, Miss, she had lived in Houston 20
years and was a member of the First Bap-
tist church and the Stewart Bible class of
the church. She was also a member of the
Blue Bonnet chapter of the Eastern Star of
Dallas and the Houston Navy Mothers club
No 2. She is survived by seven daughters,
Mrs G H Crow of Waco, Mrs T H Wilcox
of Dallas, Mrs L J Olson of New York City,
Mrs R J Kennedy, Mrs J F Cooper, Mrs E R
Kendrick and Mrs J C Jackson, all of
Houston; three sons, D A Hamrick and Dr
W H Hamrick of Houston and K C Hamrick,
who is stationed in San Diego, Cal, with the
Navy; a brother Dave Strange of Laural, Miss;
15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will he held in the drawing room of
the Settegast-Kopf home at 3 p.m. Sunday with
Rev W Douglas Hudgins officiating. Burial
service will be held in Forst Park cemetery
under the auspices of the North Side chapter
No 651 of the Eastern Star. Pallbearers
will be J B Ross, Harley Carder, H D
Sigur, L E Cornitusm, Glen M Green and
J L Christian. Settegast-Kopf company di-
