Margaret Kimmons Lassiter, 84, of Greenbrier, died Thursday July 28, 2011 at NHC Healthcare Center in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday July 30th at 10:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. David Coulter and Rev. James Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lassiter was born March 23, 1927 in Dickson County to the late Emmett and Lela DeBusk Burgess. She was a retired clerk from National Life/American General and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Thomas McKay Kimmons and William M. Lassiter, Jr., son: Ronnie Lassiter, and by her siblings: Geneva Hunt, Velma Dodson, Marjorie Helton, Larry, Rymond, and Ray Burgess. Mrs. Lassiter is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas and Rhea Kimmons of Hendersonville, Nicky and Debbie Kimmons of Greenbrier, daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Dicky Reynolds of Greenbrier, brothers: Phillip and Garland Burgess both of Nashville, Dardinell Burgess of Mt. Juliet, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren
