Blanche Mathis Marsh, who died Friday
(Jan. 24, 1992) at the Bedford County
Nursing Home after an extended illness.
She was 90.
The Rev Haskel Bain officiated. Higgins
Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
A native of McMinnville, she was the
daughter of the late John T and Mary Lou
Cantrell Mathis and the widow of the late
Richard A. Marsh, Who died in 1980.
During her life she and her husband lived
for many years in the Lincoln community,
later in Chicago, Ill., and Fayetteville,
before moving to Shelbyville in 1975. She
was a member of the Lincoln Associate
Reform Presbyterian Church where she
was a Sunday school teacher for
many years.
She us survived by a son, Timothy R. Marsh
Of Shelbyville; a sister Mrs. Franklin Blue of
McMinnville; two grandchildren and two
great grandchildren.
