Vicky was born in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She married Mark Benet Watts, also born in Chicago. He is the son of Bert (Elbert Pinckley) Watts Jr and Betsy Ann Gordon (Betsy G. Watts). Vicky's parents-in-law are ID # 82798872 and 82798873. She is buried near them.
Vicky and Mark met in Wisconsin, and made their home there in Waukesha, Waukesha County. Mark and Vicky had one daughter, Amanda Catherine, who was only 12 years old when she lost her mother.

Her untimely death followed a short illness which was misdiagnosed as the flu. She died of diabetic shock a few days after her doctor told her to take aspirin and go to bed for the weekend. She was transported by ambulance to Waukesha Memorial Hospital that Sunday night, where she died the following morning.

Her deceased sisters-in-law were Ann Theresa Watts-Phillips, and is buried near Vicky. Jan Deming Watts-Herrell is buried in different Wisconsin Cemetery.
