Professional Wrestler. He was the NWA champion from 1957 to 1959. He won the title from Lou Thesz on November 14, 1957 in Toronto. He was a three-time NCAA champion at Oklahoma State 1947 and 1948 and 1950. He competed as the US Heavyweight in Freestyle at the Olympics in 1948 placing in seventh place.
