Donald David Paul Bezanson, 38, Herring Cove, died August 29, 1999, with his daughter, Kendra, as a result of a tragic drowning accident in Herring Cove. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Robert Bezanson, Kentville and Marilyn (Sapaogeon) Gray, West Pennant. He was employed as a truck driver with the Alberta Pipeline. He is survived by Rochelle Hubley; daughter, Kayla, both at home; brothers, Ricky (Heather) Bezanson, Ardoise, Hants County; Robert Bezanson, Toronto; Randall (Natalie) Bezanson, Herring Cove; John Bezanson, Harrietsfield; Wayne (Karen) Comeau, Waterville; Steven Comeau and Robbie (Kelly) Bezanson, both of Centreville; sisters, Belynda (James ) Gray, Desaree Gray, all of West Pennant; Debora (Cliff) Goodhew, Terence Bay Cymba (John) Byers, Halifax; Deanna (Larry) Woodworth, Woodville; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Ivan Gray. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, both in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, Rev. Anne Singer officiating. Burial in St. James Cemetery, Sambro. Donations may be made to the IWK Grace Foundation or the Children's Wish Foundation.
