She died January 4, 1942 in Ravenna, Portage county, Ohio and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna. She was the daughter of John WISNESKI and Minnie JOBLUNSKA.
EDWIN MARRIED FIRST at age 21, Ella Irene STEWART who was born about 1859 in Indiana. Ella was 71 and living with daughter Cora in Akron in 1930.

* Cora CARTER born May 1, 1885 in Ohio married at age 22 on February 21, 1907 in Summit county, Ohio 23 year old Henry William MAAHS born August 27, 1884 in Ohio the son of August W. MAAHS and Christina LOOF. They had twin daughters Edna and Beatrice. Cora MAAHS of Akron, died a widow, January 14, 1972 at Edwin Shaw Rehabilitation Center in Summit County, Ohio at age 87.
* Edna Frances CARTER born May 21, 1884 in Ohio at age 36 married June 22, 1920 in Summit County, Ohio 32 year old Harry Edmond MARSH born March 31, 1888 in Ohio, the son of Simon P Marsh and Sophia YOUNG. Harry E. MARSH died January 15, 1958 in a nursing home in Tallmadge, Summit County, Ohio at age 69 widowed. Edna F.(CARTER) MARSH died before 1958.
* Mrs. Blanche (CARTER) MOORE born about 1879.
Edwin H. CARTER was survived two sisters, Jessie WALTE of Akron and Nettie JOHNSON of Macedonia, Summit county, Ohio and a brother, Albert CARTER in Peninsula, Ohio. Edwin's funeral arrangements were by Sloan's Funeral Parlors, Ravenna, Ohio.
Gertrude CARTER was the sister of Mrs. Mary MILCK of Hardington, Nebraska; Mrs. Frank (Elizabeth) REICHLE of Bedford, Ohio who died January 1958; Mrs. Kate Grorjohn and Mrs. Clara Kaup of Westpoint, Nebraska.
