Jasper M. Nabors was born February 8, 1880 in Alabama, the son of William Neighbors and his third wife Amy Armetha Ann Price Beaty. On December 15, 1901 in Coosa County, she married Jasper McAdory Neighbors. They had children Annie L. (DeWitt), Gladys M. (Smith, Pruitt), Roy William (who married Margaret Reynolds and lived in Rockford), Jasper Curtis (who married Mamie Lucille wood ), Harold Bernard (who married Mildred Cleveland), and Thurman (who married Ann Whatley). The book A Pilgramage of Faith notes that Jasper ran a sawmill. He died June 5, 1962,
