Mrs. Paul Boeldt, 61, wife of a Town of Rhine farmer, died today at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born Martha Witthuhn in Berlin Germany, Sept. 19, 1893, Mrs. Boeldt was a daughter of the late William and Bertha Witthuhn. She came to America with her parents when one year of age, settling in Howards Grove. She attended rural school at Franklin and was confirmed at the Immanuel Evangelical Reformed Church, two of Herman. Her marriage to Mr. Boeldt took place on Dec. 12, 1914. For one year following marriage the couple farmed in the town of Herman and for five years lived at Cleveland, later farming in other towns in this area. For the past 14 years they farmed in Rhine.
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Arville, Rhine Center, and Robert on the home farm; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Florence) Grunewald, town of Meeme, Mrs. Arvin (Aroma) Kuhfuss, town of Rhine; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Oemichen, town of Meeme, Mrs. Allan Klemen, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Walter Roehrborn, Appleton; and three brothers; William Witthuhn, Sheboygan, Paul Witthuhn, Howards Grove, and Otto Witthuhn, town of Meeme. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Herman, with Rev. John Potratz, pastor, officiating.
