Mamie died at age 25 in her parents home at 347 River Road in Port Huron. Cause of death was acute endocarditis (heart valve disease).

Port Huron, Michigan -- Miss Clara May Peak, 25, died today in the home of her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Neal Peak, 347 River street, after an illness of two months. Surviving are her parents, two brothers, William Peak, Detroit, and Frank Peak, Port Huron; and three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Nutt, Mrs. Glendora Canham, and Mrs. Stella Chambers, all of Port Huron. Funeral services will be held in the family home Tuesday at 10 a.m. with burial in the Deckerville cemetery.
