Mrs. Nannie Belle Beatty, wife of Charles N. Beatty, 48 years old, died at 7 p.m. Sunday at her home near Advance. The deceased was a daughter of J.H. and Sarah Miller. Death was caused by diabetes. Mrs. Beatty had been previously been married to Lee Irwin, who died some eighteen years ago. She is survived by one son, Lester Irwin, or Warren, O.; four daughters, Mildred, Anna Me, and Lucile Irwin, of Elderton; also by her parents, J.H. and Sara Miller, of Shelocta; three brothers, James Miller of Rochester Mills, Blaine and Lee Miller of Shelocta; two sisters, Mrs. Milton Thomas of Shelocta, and Mrs. C.P. Clark of Elderton. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 13th, at 2 p.m. in charge of Dr. M.D. McClelland and interment will be in Elderton Cemetery.
