LEANNA "Annie" CARTER BLAKE, 83, of Barboursville, W.Va., loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, March 19, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Leaving behind two daughters, Brenda and Bobby Adkins of Ona, and Cheryl and Jim Adkins of Barboursville. Also surviving are her loving grandkids, Cristy (Chris) Johnson, Stacy (Mary) Adkins, Shannon (Misty) Adkins, Leann (Eric) Sealander, all of Ona; and seven precious great-grandkids, Sarena Johnson, Keegan and Kylar Adkins, Tori and Haley Adkins, Jarrett and Josie Plumley, all of Ona. She is also survived by three sisters, Mildred Carter of Barboursville, Mae Ashworth of Alabama, and Jean Wheeler of Barboursville; one brother, Wetzel Spencer of Ona. She was preceded in death by husband, Harold D. Carter; two sisters, Wilma Johnson and Polly Newman; and brother, Floyd Spencer. Annie was a lifelong member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Ona, where she loved attending her Ladies Sunday School Class. She will be sadly missed by a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Bill Davis and Pastor Pete Davidson. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Pallbearers will be sons-in-law and grandsons. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
