OBIT: Chase Co Leader 3/23/1933
The death of Mrs. Clarinda Branch formerly of this city, occurred at the home of her nephew, W.J.Teat, at 308 West 13th St, Topeka, on Thurs Mar 23rd. Services were held at Topeka at 9:30 o'clock Sat. morning after which the remains were brought to this city and interment made in Prairie Grove Cemetery. A brief service was conducted here by Rev. J. L. Mitchell, pastor of the Methodist church. Mrs. Branch was in her eighty-seventh year. She had made her home with her nephew, W. J. Teat and her niece, Mrs. R. D. Montgomery, in Topeka since 1923. For a number of years she lived in this city with her sister, Mrs. Henry Bishop, and Mr. Bishop. After Mrs. Bishop's death she went to Topeka to make her home with Mr. Teat and Mrs. Montgomery. Relatives from out of the county present for the funeral were: M/M W. J. Teat, Topeka; M/M R. D. Montgomery, Topeka; Mrs. J. M. Montgomery, Topeka; Miss Ida M. Cisco, Topeka; Mr. B. W. Tarpey, Topeka; Miss Laura Maloney, Newton.
Altho the obit says Clarinda was buried at Prairie Grove, Cottonwood Falls, Chase Co Kansas, there is no record of her there, so we are placing her memorial here where she would want it - with her husband and daughter. Clarinda was ever the devoted wife and mother. It must have broken her heart to have to live so many years without them.

Ida and her father Levi are buried in Elmwood Cemetery at Centralia, Levi's devoted wife Clarinda "Katie" is buried in Kansas, and the five infants are buried all in a row with identical tiny tombstones in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Jeffersonville with Levi's parents, Rev. Sam'l S and Elizabeth Branch.
