DELTA --- Mrs. Lenna Ethel Abrams, 89, died Saturday at 7:53 p.m. in the Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa where she had been a patient for two days.
The daughter of Robert and Susan Bennett Dolton, she was born Jan. 26, 1878, at Hedrick. Except for two years, when she lived in Mississippi, she lived all her life in the Hedrick and Delta communities.
She married James Hamilton Abrams on Dec. 23, 1896 at Hedrick. He died Oct. 17, 1959.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Anna Lois Blom of Newton; one son, Nolan Abrams of Delta; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Delta Methodist Church with the Rev. Herbert Foxworthy officiating. Interment will be in Brooks Cemetery.
Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
