Thomas J. (Jake) Moore, 81, 1230 Grant Avenue, died Wednesday, January 11, 1989. Funeral arrangements to be announced by Crestwood Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Thomas J. (Jake) Moore, 81, 1230 Grant Ave., who died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1989. The Rev. John Price, Dwayne Spivey, minister, and the Rev. Dale Butler will officiate. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Moore was a native of Bibb County and a resident of Gadsden since 1936. He was a retired employee of the Engineering Department of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of the Goodyear Golf Club.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Joyce Moore; son Johnny M. Moore, Gadsden; daughter, Mrs. Gene M. Nichols, Southside; son-in-law, Durwood Nichols; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gayle W. Moore; grandson, Steve Moore; granddaughters, Laura Gayle Hill and Cindy Jones; great grandson Michael Craig Hill Jr., great granddaughter, Melissa Gayle Hill; grandsons-in-law, Craig Hill and Jackie Jones, step-sons, Jeff and Lee Hardie, and brother, J.E. Moore, Brighton.
Pallbearers will be Allen Coyton, Homer Stuart, Tom Siniard, Tommy and Ralph Moore, Eddie Edwards, Preston Richards and H.W. Hudson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. Dougharty, Zottoli and Stansfield, nurses of the first, second and third shifts on the seventh floor, Baptist Hospital, Walt Rudder, Buck and Mark Woodward and K.B. Partridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6–9 tonight.

Gravesite Details
To my knowledge, Jake was married to Emma until her death. Married for 57 years. I am not aware of a marriage to Joyce.
