Anna Gillis

Anna Sue Ford Gillis, 88, formerly of Route 5, Candler, died Wednesday in a local nursing home.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Landon and Matilda Cole Ford.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde E. Gillis, a son, Jay White of Young Harris , Georgia, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2:30p.m. Saturday in Clark's Chapel Cemetery, Weaverville.
