Sue McMurtry Brame, 70, of Gulfport and former resident of Nashville passed away July 1, 2011 in Gulfport.
Sue was born in Nashville on April 25, 1941.
She graduated from Lebanon High School and was one of the top realtors in the Nashville Sue moved to Hattiesburg in 1997 and then to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2002. She was member of Jackson Park Church of Christ in Nashville and the camping club "Friends on Wheels" on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Enjoying life to the fullest, Sue was loved by everyone and she genuinely loved and cared about all of her family and friends.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Harlow and Margaret Maloney; and her first husband, Earl Davis McMurtry.
She is survived by her husband, Lex Brame, III of Gulfport; children, Eric D. McMurtry (Michelle) of Portland, OR and Mark W. McMurtry of Portland, OR; step children, Anthony Brame (Amy) of Magnolia, TX and Bridgette Lockwood (Neil) of Hewitt, TX; sisters, Barbara Hapney of Nashville, Vickie Rodgers (Ray) of Alexandria, TN, and Rita Coleman of Hendersonville, TN; brothers, John Maloney of Hampton, GA and Paul Maloney of Nashville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, July 3,2011 from 2:00 until the funeral service at 3:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
