Betty J. Sines, 71, formerly of 5050 Mailler St., Titusville, died at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 1996, at Sunset Manor. She had been a resident there since June 17, 1994.
Mrs. Sines was born on March 31, 1925, in Cherrytree, a daughter of the late George W. and Ethel Pearl Luce Cook. She married Clifford W. "Fatty" Sines on Dec. 9, 1946. Mr. Sines died on Feb. 17, 1994.
She had attended Cherrytree and Titusville schools and also attended the Free Methodist Church. She was formerly employed by Isaly's and Queen Cutlery of Titusville.
Mrs. Sines is survived by a son,of Athens, Tenn.; three daughters; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother; and two sisters.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sines was preceded in death by one son, Clifford W. Sines Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Flossy Curry, Mrs. Esther Murphy and Mrs. Dorothy Cook; and four brothers, Raymond Cook, George Cook, Bill Cook and Wearn "Bud" Cook.
