Former area resident died in Wisconsin
Mrs. Bernard (Barbara) Dickey, 46, of Platteville, Wis., died at her home last Friday following an extended illness.
The former Barbara Newton, she was born April. 10, 1934, at Jenkins. She married Bernard Dickey in Pequot Lakes in 1952 and they had lived in Platteville since 1962. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard; five daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Debra) Bavery of A1bany, Wis., Mrs. Mark (Connie) Davis of Rapid City, S.D.,
Mrs. Robert (Diana) VanNatta of Platteville and Dawn Marie and Linda Jean Dickey, both at home; one son, Danny Lee Dickey of Mesa, Ariz; seven grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Edna Newton of Jenkins; six brothers, Arthur of Coon Rapids, Norbert of Grand Rapids, Clair of Cambridge, Alvin of Loveland, Colo, and Robert and Peter, both of Jenkins; two sisters, Mrs. Peter (Viola) Werlinger of Livonia, Mich. and Mrs. Wayne (Linda)
Headlee of Brainerd and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday at the Bonin Funeral Home of Platteville, with burial there.
