Livelong Two Rivers Resident
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie L. Hollander, 81, of Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, for many years cashier at Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers, and later a Two Rivers business woman, who died Saturday afternoon at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital, were at 11 a.m. Monday at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers. In the absence of the Rev. Donald T. Stannard, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Donald G. Stannard of First United Methodist Church, Neenah, officiated. Burial was in Forest View Cemetery. Mrs. Hollander, nee Lillie Lahey, was born on Oct. 17, 1890, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Edward and Ann Williamson Lahey. She attended Two Rivers public schools and was graduated from Two Rivers High School with the Class of 1907. She was employed by the Hamilton firm until 1924 [1925?] when she was married to Norman Stollberg. He died in 1929 [1930], and she operated the jewelry store until 1934 when she was married to George Hollander of Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1958. She was a charter member of Two Rivers Chapter No. 229, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ruth Lyon, of Sheboygan and Mrs. George (Grace) Markham, of Two Rivers; a stepson, Carl Hollander, of Manitowoc and among the number of nieces and nephews (Survivors omitted for privacy.) Marriage of Norman Stollberg and Lillie Lahey
Miss Lilly Lahey and Norman J. Stollberg, Washington Street were married Wednesday morning at the parsonage of Grace Congregational Church, Rev. T.A. Hawkes performing the ceremony which was witnessed by Miss Frieda Stollberg, a sister of the groom and Mr. Gordon Kunz. After the ceremony the wedding party repaired to the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. F.W. Dicke where a wedding dinner was served with a few dear relatives only being present. The newlyweds then left for Chicago and Milwaukee on a wedding sojourn and upon their return they will make their home at the corner of 20th and Jefferson. Both bride and groom are well known and highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. The groom conducts the Stollberg Jewelry Store on Washington St. The bride for several years held the responsible position of cashier at the office of the Hamilton Mfg. Co. The Reporter unites with many friends of the couple in best wishes and congratulations. Published in The Reporter, Fri., May 1, 1925.

She attended public schools at Two Rivers and graduated from Two Rivers High School in 1907. She was enumerated there with her mother in the 1900 US Census and in the 1905 Wisconsin State Census.

Following her mother's death in 1907, she lived with her brothers Peter and George, and sisters Ella and Lilly at Two Rivers. A stenographer, she worked for Hamilton Mfg. Co. from at least 1915 until 1924 [Two River Dir., 1911-12, 1915; Her Obituary].

Lillian was enumerated there with her sister Ella and Ella's husband, Fred Dicke, in the 1920 US Census.

Lillias married first Norman J. STOLLBERG, on 28 April 1925, at Two Rivers. They lived there in Oct. 1929, at the time of her brother Edward's death [Edward's Obituary]. Norman died in January 1930.

Lillie married second George E. Hollander, on 26 May 1934.

George was born in 1879 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, to Emanuel (1830-1887) and Sophia (1839-1914) Hollander; died at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in 1959; was buried there at Evergreen Cemetery, near his parents.

Lillie and George were enumerated at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in the 1940 and 1950 US Censuses.

They lived there in October 1955 [Obituary of her brother, Daniel]. Lillie was a resident of Two Rivers, in May, 1972 [Obituary of her brother, George].

Lillie had no children with either of her husbands.
