June 11, 1918 - April 16, 2008

Sally F. Ingram, a longtime Monroe area resident, passed away April 16. She was 89.

She was born in Stidham, Okla., on June 11, 1918, to John and Frances Crowson. She moved to Oregon with her family when she was 7 years old.

Sally married Lloyd Ingram on Aug. 28, 1938, and they lived in the Monroe area until his death in 2005.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, fishing and short trips she took with Lloyd. She was well known for the beautiful flowers she cultivated.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her daughter, Marilyn Nash; and two brothers, Gilbert Crowson and Edmond Crowson.

Survivors include daughter Carolyn Gogal of Salem; sons Rodney Ingram of Cornelius, Gary Ingram of Eugene, Dale Ingram of Myrtle Point; sister Faye Overton of Florence; brothers James Crowson of Springfield, Chester Crowson of Ingram Island, DeVaughn Crowson of Junction City, Utah Crowson of Keizer; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Bellfountain Cemetery.

Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
