William Jess Perry , William Jess Perry, 57, died Dec 24, 1963 at his home at Beulah Heights. Mr. Perry, a victim of cancer, had been ill for the past five years. The deceased was born June 21, 1906, at Honey Bee and lived all of his life in McCreary County and worked as a laborer at a saw mill. He was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Robbie [Vanover] Perry; four sons, Carl Perry of Cincinnati; Clarence and Kenneth Perry, Beulah Heights; Charles Perry of Honey Bee; two daughters, Mrs. Gertie Vanover, Honey Bee; Mrs. Lois Patrick, Honey Bee; one brother, Bud Perry of Cincinnati, and a sister, Mrs. Madgelene Lynch, Whitley City. Funeral service was held Friday, December 27th, at 2 p.m. in the Indian Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Harvey Corder and Rev. France Jones officiating. Burial was in Higginbotham Cemetery.
