William served in the United States Navy and was sent to Pearl Harbor to join Admiral Nimitz's staff.
He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, California and met the love of his life, Irma Morrow. They were married in 1948.
William had an older sister, Louise Frainer.
He lived in Santa Maria, California for over 50 years and made a multitude of contributions to the community.
Not only was he a loyal member of the Elk's Lodge, but was also the President of the Lion's Club and responsible for initiating the annual Santa Maria Christmas Parade, which he expertly led for eight years.
William owned and successfully operated the business, Carpets Unlimited for several years and will always be remembered for his hard work ethic, his willingness to lend a hand.
His greatest pride, however, resided in his love for his family.
Mr. Frainer is survived by his wife of 63 years of marriage, Irma (Morrow) Frainer, sons, Larry Frainer, Greg Frainer and Dan Frainer, grandchildren. Jennifer Devine (Frank), Nathan and Brandon, great grandchildren, Francis Devine and Fynlee Devine.
