Frederick Post - February 25, 1930
Howard Zimmerman, aged about 80 years and a brother of David Zimmerman, tenant on the Quynn farm on the Reich's Ford Road, near Reel's Mills, was suddenly stricken about 11:30 o'clock Monday morning with what is believed to have been a heart attack and died soon afterward at Bartonsville. Mr. Zimmerman was stricken just as he reached the top of a hill near the residence of Mrs. Bert Lare, and was carried into her home, where be died. Suddenly he was stricken and was carried into the Lare home.
Deputy Sheriff William Steiner and Justice of the Peace Sherman P. Bowers went to the scene and-held a coroner's
inquest, after which a verdict of natural death was given.
