Born and educated in Illinois, he lived in many states before coming to California. He was active in civic work and a building inspector in many cities of the states in which he lived. He was a member of the Oceanside Masonic Lodge, the Odd Fellow lodge and was a Shriner, whom took active part in all orders to which he belonged. He died from attack of influenza.

"FUNERAL SERVICES FOR L.W. ROBINSON, SUNDAY

The funeral services for L.W. Robinson, 75, who passed away at his home, Wednesday morning, after a short illness, will be held at the Johnson-Ekegren funeral parlors, Sunday afternoon, at two o'clock. The Masonic and Odd Fellow lodges will have charge of the interment services which will be in the Odd Fellow Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson faithfully discharged his duties as building inspector until Sunday, when he was stricken with an attack of influenza, which was the immediate cause of his death.
The deceased leaves beside his wife, four daughters and two sons, Mrs. C.A. Richards of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Mrs. George Barrett of Oklahoma City; Mrs. J.E. Crossette of Los Angeles; Mrs. M. Doyle of Monrovia; Lieut. O.D. Robinson of Washington, D.C.; and L. W. Robinson Jr., of Los Angeles.
Mr. Robinson was born and educated in Illinois but lived in many states before coming to California. He was active in civic work and building inspector in many cities of the states in which he lived. The deceased was a member of the Masonic lodge51 years, the Odd Fellow lodge and was a Shriner, and took active part in all orders to which he belonged."
