Funeral services for the Rev. James Lee Shannon, 68, of 193 Havilland Place, Frederick, who died Friday, April 1, were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Prince Frederick. The Rev. David C. Dawson, Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church of Frederick, the Rev. John Battman, Huntingtown Unite Methodist Church and Mr. James Van Dozer of Mount Airy, officiated. Interment was in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

The Rev. Shannon was the husband of Mary Catherine Fry Shannon.

The Frederick Funeral Home of Hobart E. Dailey & Son, handled the arrangements.
