Julius Schroeder
Julius Schroeder, 56, Baraboo, died today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Leroy Wickus, Sunset Village. He was employed as a telegraph operator by the North Western railroad. Before going to Baraboo, he had served in Madison. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Gertrude, Mayville, and Mrs. Wickus; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Eckert and Mrs. Earl Hamilton, and a brother, William, all of Norfolk, Neb. Funeral services will be held Monday in the Dyrud funeral home, the Rev. F. C. Brandhorst officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.

On Julius Schroeder you ask if his wife Sarah may have remarried. I don't believe so, but she died in Houston, Texas and may be buried there. She died Oct 14, 1968.

Sarah's daughter Elvira Schroeder/Wickus/Barstow died in Houston, Texas Sept 27, 2009. Elvira had lived in that area for a time.
