Son of Andreas Wunnenberg and Sophia Fredericka Reulecke. Frederick was a weaver by trade and emigrated to Canada in October of 1854. On February 22, 1859, he married Elizabeth Metz in Waterloo County, Ontario. Together they had twelve children between 1860 and 1878. They made their home first in Huron County and then in Bruce County, Ontario. Frederick was living in Bentinck, Grey County, Ontario when he died on May 22, 1906.
