He was born in Butler, PA on July 4, 1973, the son of Robert and Lulu Belle (Servey) Dodd.
Scott was resident of the area his entire life. He was a member of the Martinsburg Presbyterian Church and attended Karns City High School. Scott was employed with Pajax Trucking as a laborer, loading and unloading trucks. He was a true outdoorsman, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Scott was good with his hands, and enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He was close with his family and will be sadly missed.
His memory will be carried on by his parents; his two children, Dylan Thomas and Cierra Nicole Dodd of Fairview; his brother, Robert Eric Dodd and his wife Linda of Butler and his sister, Holly K. Hartzell and her husband Tom of Butler; his nephew, Tyler D. Hartzell of Butler; his two nieces, Beth Hageman of Butler and Kristen Byford and her husband Braylon of Elgin, TX; great nieces Kiara and Olivia and a great nephew, Leland; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At the family's request, visitation and funeral services will be private. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
