The News (Frederick, MD) - June 23, 1965

Mrs. Alberta Mary Belcher, 38, died suddenly at her home near Dickerson yesterday.

She was the wife of Samuel Belcher and the daughter of Mrs. Gail Dodson and the late Alfred Dodson, Rockville.

Besides her husband, she leaves her mother, five children; Wanda Joan, Samuel Jones, Barbara Lee, Claude Tyler, and Jean Gail Belcher, all at home; a brother, Bedford Dodson of Hyattstown; and three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Mullinix, Mrs. Hisel Beach, both of Dickerson; and Mrs. Peggy Ray of Damascus.

Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home at Barnesville, Wednesday evening. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville.
