Corbin Wilber Seay, California, Warrant Officer Junior Grade. 456th Survey Squadron, 322nd Survey Group, July 4, 1944, Florence, Italy. Missing. Was awarded the Soldier's Medal, given for "heroism not involving actual conflict with the enemy."


Corbin Wilber Seay, born in 1922 in South Dakota enlisted in the United States Army on July 17, 1940 from Chico, California, and was a member of the Air Corps. He had graduated from High School, and had two dependents, his wife, Toni, and his son, Jeffry. Height 71 (5'9") inches, weight 160. He was a Warrant Officer, JG, lost, unrecoverable on July 4, 1944.
