She was born Dec. 23, 1983, in Denton. She was a 2002 graduate of Cross Plains High School and was the only female to play football there.
Survivors include her father, Charlie Scott, Cross Plains; mother, Rhonda Williamson, Cross Plains; sisters, Laci Jessup and Becca Smoot, both of Cross Plains, Shyla Powell, Bangs, and Lisa Smith, Mineola; grandparents, Pam and Wayne Brown, Mineola, and Jimmie and Delores Jackson, China Springs; great-grandmother, Helen Whiteley, Nimrod; three nephews; and two nieces.
