Junior Nichols, 86, of Chester, AR, died Sunday, December 25, 2011 in Spiro, Ok.
He was born January 17, 1925 in Talahina, OK.
He was a retired box maker for Inland Pacific containers, served in the U.S. Air force during World War II and was a member of the Echo Assembly of God in Barber Community, AR.
He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Bobby Neil Blair III and Gage Strickland.
He is survived by his wife, Janie of the home; two daughters, Carol Wolfe of Fort Smith, AR and Dionne Sangster of Fort Smith, AR; two sons, Phillip Nichols of Chester, AR and Jerry Nichols of Magnolia, AR; a sister, Helen Hodges of Witcherville, AR ; 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Blair, Donald Wallace, Andrew Nichols, Paul Blair, Raymond Horton and Anthony Horton.
Funeral Service will be 12:30 P.M. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, AR with burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
