Linda Marie Quinn, 48, of Roanoke, Va., passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2011, after battling with health issues for years. She was a beloved mother, daughter and sister. Linda was preceded in passing by her daughter, Alicia Dawn Quinn, whom she has missed. She is survived by her son, Cody; mother and father, Reva Jean and Frank Quinn; her brother, Rod Quinn and his wife, Amy; nephew, Caleb Quinn; and nieces, Shannon and Hannah Quinn. Linda was born in Franklin County and lived most of her life in Roanoke. She was a graduate of William Fleming High School. The family would like to thank Linda's good friend, Robin McCullough, for her friendship and care through the years. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. Elmo McLaurin officiating. For those wishing to make memorials please consider the Roanoke Valley SPCA. The family will receive friends after the memorial service at Oakey's North Chapel.
