Maude Lenore Hibbard was born about a mile east of Tedrow, (it was known as Spring Hill at that time), May 25, 1871 and passed away August 5, 1956 being just past 85 years of age. She was married to J. A. Carroll of California March 11, 1933. He passed away while engaged in Evangelistic work in Texas. She lived her whole life in Tedrow vicinity except two or three years when they were engaged in Evangeslitic work in Florida and Texas. She was the oldest member of Tedrow Church of Christ, having been immersed by O. Q. Oviat January 9, 1886. She was a Bible School teacher for many years; also taught in Public Schools until the feebleness of her parents demanded her presence at home where she devotedly cared...[rest of obituary is missing].
